For a Limited Time Only
December 16, 2022
On our Thanksgiving week travels, Mr. K and I went to a Fred Meyer because it has a better bathroom than the Jamba Juice it shares a parking lot with. Getting ourselves a treat at Jamba Juice before navigating through Seattle has become something of a tradition when we drive that route. Near the door there was a big display with holiday foods, including Sprite Zero limited edition Winter Spiced Cranberry, which was on sale. Say no more, Fred Meyer, you got me. We bought enough to share with family and bring a 2-liter back for ourselves, and this week I opened that bottle up and have been quaffing this festive beverage.
It’s fine. The spice seems rather subtle to me. I am not going to be sad when it’s gone the way I was when Diet Coke Blueberry Acai was discontinued. It’s no Sprite Ice, that’s for sure. I still remember coming across Sprite Ice in a gas station in Canada on my way back to Detroit years and years ago (I don’t remember what I was doing in Canada that time but I remember that soda). So interesting. So refreshing. I don’t feel the same about this Sprite Zero Winter Spiced Cranberry, but I’m glad I tried it.
