Nesting Dolls for Old People

December 23, 2022

I needed to top off my little bottle of purse ibuprofen, so I grabbed the bathroom bottle, but that only had enough tablets in it to fill little bottle, so I had to get the big bottle from the linen closet to refill the bathroom one. It’s the circle of life.

Three white plastic bottles lined up from small to large.

I recently found out from the internet that some people pronounce ibuprofen as “I. B. Profen”, which just, no. Around here, it’s “I-boo” or “Vitamin I”.

Love the idea of nesting dolls. Perfect.

We say it like “I-boo” too, and we (or mostly *I*) move it between bottles more or less just like that, too. But I am now on Eliquis (blood thinner) and I am not supposed to take NSAIDS, meaning I’m left with just Tylenol, ugh.
