Happy Color Update: Mid-July 2026

Time for a Happy Color update, since it’s been a bit more than a month since the previous one.
These six mandalas are some of my favorites I’ve colored in the last month:
Groups I’ve finished since the previous update (most recent listed first; all counts include any friends I matched with the main images for the group):
– Mandalas: star doily-style designs (2) [had been separators]
– Dailies for second full week of July (16)
– Mandalas: swirly and op art (6) [had been separators; see image above]
– Sports: more World Cup (4)
– Art: still lives with flowers, cattle being worked (4)
– Rainbow colors designs (10) [most came from one collection]
– Popular: boots, trees in libraries, cacti, women, aliens, ice cream, summer (14)

– Popular: perfume bottles, umbrellas, hearts with quilt designs (6)
– Triangle patterns (4) [had been used as separators]
– Classy: mostly flappers, with some similar era men and cars mixed in (14)

Currently In Progress:
1.) Detailed mandalas that used to be separators but are now filled in enough that they don’t function well as a visual divider between groups so they’re their own group now (4 images plus 2 separators) [separators: animals with maze patterns]
2.) (12 + 2) [used one of the daily images for the sports group mentioned above in the finished list; separators: mandalas with overlap]
3.) Sports: aerobics (do they call it that anymore?), aerial yoga, rhythmic gymnastics (16 + 2) [separators: detailed mandalas with pointy scalloped edges]
4.) Pictures of the week for July so far (4 + 2) [separators: detailed mandalas with alternating round and pointy scalloped edges]
5.) Art: painters, social gatherings, landscapes (16 + 0) [need to find more separators before I start more groups]
How Things Are Going Overall:
I am considering doing the mysteries again, but on a more relaxed schedule, mostly so I can have a completed category other than Holidays. Though there are no awards for that other than a checkmark on the category list. Or maybe I’ll get back to doing award bonus images, as my phone does want another OS update and I’ll need to clear space by doing the uninstall/restore for Happy Color again). As my in progress list shows, I am continuing to work towards awards not yet earned. Since I started tracking in May, I’ve completed two of them (Mosaic and Marine). I’m closest on Sports, thus the aerobics, etc. Butterflies is next closest, but it’s a fairly big gap (only 20 images to get Sports but 88 for Butterflies). Of course none of this is super important, but it makes my brain happy.
