Happy Color Update: Mid-June 2026

It’s been a month, so it’s time for a Happy Color update. The featured picture this time is a pattern from back in the day when the images used to be more like something that might have been in a paper coloring book back in the day, maybe one of the first wave of “adult” coloring books that I had in the 70s.
Groups I’ve finished since the previous update (most recent listed first; all counts include any friends I matched with the main images for the group):

– Horoscopes, line patterns and dark sky ones (26) [ to work toward next horoscopes award; had to put a couple non-horoscope ones here as I did a bunch of the Pisces ones for my birthday a couple years ago]

– Holidays from deep in the category that I somehow missed (2)

– St. George’s Day (2) [very late; this must have been one of the Holidays that pop in late/out of order so I don’t notice them on time]

– Clocks (2) [had been separators but they weren’t distinct enough so I kept missing where the groups started/ended when these were involved]

Currently In Progress:
1.) Pictures of the week for June so far (4 images plus 4 separators) [separators: triangle patterns]
2.) Dailies for the second week of June (12 + 2) [used one of the daily images for the sports group mentioned above in the finished list; separators: mandalas with overlap]
3.) Art (4 + 20 [separators: doily-style mandalas]
4.) Steampunk horoscopes (10 + 6) [had done some of these already so that’s why there are not 12; separators: op art and other swirly mandalas]
5.) Cartoon sports (10 + 6) [had started a few of these as partners in the sports group I finished but decided they didn’t fit stylistically; separators: all the rest, which are detailed mandalas]
How Things Are Going Overall:
I have been continuing my focus on doing award bonuses while working toward the next level of awards for the categories I haven’t maxxed out yet, as well as doing the daily images. I am still not doing the mystery images and haven’t been missing them.
