A Week in Photos: 2026, Part 24
June 26, 2026
Monday, June 8: Today’s new thing I saw in the yard were these delicate white blooming fronds (is that the right word?) that are hard for my camera to focus on.
Tuesday, June 9: Biggest slug I’ve come across in the driveway so far.
Wednesday, June 10: Mr. Karen and I did something new and went to see the independent league baseball team in town. It was just as charming as you’d expect. Got chilly in the late innings and a lot of folks left, so they didn’t get to see the 7-run bottom of the ninth that gave the home team an 11 to 10 win.
Thursday, June 11: Work on the electrical to resolve the issue with the county proceeded. Made a trip to the grocery store where they had patriotic Pop Tarts which we did not buy.
Friday, June 12: The shadows from the railing near the end of the day caught my eye.
Saturday, June 13: The sunset was especially gorgeous this night.
Sunday, June 14: So much growing on the property. Still figuring out how to manage it, what needs to be managed.
