Monday, November 24: Went to the endodontist in the medium-sized city, and got the bad news that I need not just the problem tooth pulled but the wisdom tooth next to it (which yes, I still have). I did get a souvenir CD with images of the inside of my head (okay, not a souvenir exactly, something to take to the next dentist). Apparently I’ve got no bone where there should be bone.
Tuesday, November 25: The purple balloon can’t fly on its own anymore, so Mr. Karen clipped it to the blue one and they flew together for a while.
Wednesday, November 26: Snow is back, but not enough of it in time for the previously announced November 28th opening day for the mountain (which was delayed from the original November 21st date). No new opening date at this point.
Thursday, November 27: Preparing a little Thanksgiving dinner (we decided not to travel for the holiday to give us more time to work on getting the condo ready to sell), I knocked a full glass of cider off the counter onto the floor. That’s one way to reduce the amount of stuff we have to pack.
Friday, November 28: Snow situation is looking better.
Saturday, November 29: Re-use success: this bag I’ve been keeping my yogurt starter in between making batches was used 17 times before its retirement.
Sunday, November 30: Somehow I never noticed this mural in one of the local big box stores. I like it.
