A Week in Photos: 2022, Part 23
July 1, 2022
June 6: I had a bad headache and was extra tired (delayed effect of COVID? travel hangover? got back to exercise too soon? I do not know). Didn’t take any photos, but did save this one from the internet, which made me chuckle.
June 7: Found enough energy to tackle some laundry, thinking of good vacation memories as I folded the shirts I wore while I was away.
June 8: Pretty fluffy clouds and the view I know I’ll lose at some point, now with bonus wisps of smoke from the burn pile associated with some road construction being done on the mountain.
June 9: Going through mail that arrived while we were gone found many awful, misleading fliers from the candidate who ultimately won the Republican primary, including this one that is covered with dog whistles to the far right. It pains me to see this sort of thing. Sure, engage on issues, but be honest. The person responsible for this flier isn’t honest and is manipulative. And will almost certainly be one of my state senators in the fall. Ugh.
June 10: Just a faint positive … that’s progress. Still feeling fine; if I weren’t testing I wouldn’t hesitate to go out, but I’m erring on the side of caution.
June 11: Looking even better. I’m calling this a full negative.
June 12: Second negative test in a row, so stopped isolating and masking in the house. Celebrated by going out for walk and saw this little stream running fast with snow melt.
