I had a pleasant day cleaning and drinking cocoa … wait, not quite. There was no cocoa, and it wasn’t cleaning but rather tidying, though some garbage was generated in the process so I suppose the room I was working in is technically cleaner, except the house as a whole is not because the garbage is still in it, just in an approved container for that sort of thing instead of wadded up in various bags I’d never gotten around to unpacking thoroughly. I also made some progress on other goals and made cornbread muffins to go with lunch, plus a cornbread loaf, because we only have a six-muffin tin and I had enough batter for twice that many. Some of my Facebook friends went to see the new Star Wars movie; I did not. We’ll get to it. In the meantime, we’re going to rewatch The Force Awakens tonight. Tomorrow, I’m hoping for another pleasant day. Perhaps I’ll go into town and play in the studio. Perhaps I’ll finalize the accounting for my mom’s estate and get one step closer to wrapping up my executor responsibilities. Perhaps I’ll ski if we get a lot more snow than is in the forecast right now. It’s good to have possibilities.

In conclusion, here’s this year’s Jubleale carton art, which relates to my day insofar as we had dinner at the pizza place in the village and they had various Jubelale posters on the wall. (A bit of Googling helped me find out that this year, there are four designs, not just one. I’ll have to keep an eye out. I enjoy the packaging but am not much for drinking ales, so I will enjoy them in the store, as I did the design below.)
