Cat Portraits are Hard

I am way too stressed out getting prepared to relocate to Idaho for the winter, so instead of more angsty words from me about that, I present a series taken at my mom’s house over Thankgsiving weekend, called “Simon is a cat and thus does not care if you are trying to get a good photo of him for your mother”.

    I love the last one – he has a real “WTF” look on his face.

    My camera card is filled with blurry pictures of cats when I was trying to get just one semi-decent shot of them doing something super cute. Kittens are even worse – I think the best you can do with small critters who do not grasp the concept of sitting still is to actually video them and then try to grab the best still from that.
