Happy Color Update: Almost the End of October 2026
October 29, 2026
It’s been about a month since I last did a Happy Color update here, so let’s see what I did during that time on the app.
Groups I’ve finished since the previous update (most recent listed first; all counts include any friends I matched with the main images for the group):
Vampire’s Nightmare story (10 pictures)
Dailies for second full week of October (18)
Artist Day (2)
Messages/Postcards: seize the day (6)
Canadian Thanksgiving (2)
Dailies for October 1st and first full week of October (24)
Horoscopes: dark sky, line drawing ladies, children (40)
Dailies for last days of September (12)
Messages/Postcards: grow and bloom (8)
Australia Day (4)
Jazz/Jazz Festival (14)
Horoscopes: folks wearing shorts (12)
Navy oval patterns (4) [were separators for a while]
Holidays: Oktoberfest (4) [two of these I’d done but had to redo when two more popped up]
Classy: Women in gowns and hats and lounging on couches and such, with a few men in suits (22)
Pictures of week and month for September (10)
Tattoos: skulls (8)
Horoscopes: round with portraits of women (4)
Postcards/messages: friends (4)
Popular: colorful sunflower-like flowers (2)
Dailies for 3rd full week of September (14)
Currently In Progress:
1.) Halloween (36 images plus 2 separators) [separators: pixel art swirls]
2.) Messages: never stop dreaming (2 + 4) [separators: pixel art roses, sheep, and messages]
3.) Pictures of the week for October (8 + 2) [separators: pixel art waves and houses]
4.) Art, mostly Japanese artists (18 + 4) [separators: pixel art and freeflowing patterns]
5.) Dailies for third full week of October (10 + 30) [most are not paired yet; separators are mostly quilt like patterns with four pixel art at the end]
6.) Compass rose images (2 + 16) [separators: quilt like patterns]
How Things Are Going Overall:
Status quo. No iOS or app updates that changed my experience this month. With the end of baseball season, I’m not sure if I’ll color as much as I’ve been but perhaps I’ll find other pockets of time to poke at it.
On this date in 2004 through 2025: No journal entries
2003: Non-Random Act of Friendship Quilting
2002: No entry
