Monday, April 20: Sunsets from the deck continue to be a delight at the new place.
Tuesday, April 21: Continuing to enjoy finding new blooms in the yard. The internet tells me this is a salmonberry bush (link is to site run by the US Forest Service, currently being gutted by the Trump administration, so look while you can).
Wednesday, April 22: Another milestone in the septic project with the arrival and installation of the new tanks.
Thursday, April 23: Another long weekend back in Idaho/Spokane. Stopped along the way at the combination fruit/wine/bakery/antique/vintage shop. Saw an afghan made from the same sort of rainbow variegated acrylic that I used in my first knitting/crochet projects when I was a kid. I didn’t buy it, having plenty of vintage afghans already, but it was nice to see.
Friday, April 24: Spent most of the day in the storage studio, looking for the high priority boxes with things like the caulk gun Mr. Karen needs to finish work on the shower in our primary bathroom.
Saturday, April 25: The friends who are letting me stay with them during my Spokane weekends have a doggo with a very powerful tail.
Sunday, April 26: In addition to getting a lot of serious stuff out of storage like tools and other practical items, I pulled out some fancy shoes for the conference I go to every year in May that has a party every night. I don’t always go to the parties, but it’s fun to have enough shoes ready if I decide to.
