This is Mr. Karen doing one of the things he likes best, whitewater kayaking. He also downhill skis and writes (he’s had an article published) and lots of other stuff. Oh, and he works for a living, too.

This is Bubba, our guinea pig. Until his death in February, 2005, he enjoyed sleeping and eating, though he was picky about which foods were acceptable

This is me, at around nine months old, back when I didn’t have food issues. When I got hungry, I pulled the bread drawer open and grabbed a fistful of oyster crackers. Problem solved.
