And So It Begins

I signed up for Holidailies again this year, making my twelfth attempt at this daily writing project. Looking back at my history with this collaborative writing effort and ahead to my schedule for December, I already know I will not manage to post here every day between now and January 1st, but I still have hope that I will manage to do 32 entries, doubling up on some days as I have in previous years in order to get my average up to 1 per day.
In lieu of using this first post of Holidailies to introduce myself, I updated my About Me page for the first time in five years or so. In a world filled with change, I’ve settled into a pocket of semi-stability; my husband, employer, and home address are all the same ones I had when I started this journal in 2002. Sure, there have been tweaks and growth and ebbs and flows in my life since then, but no crazy unexpected changes. I like it that way.

I hope you make it through the 31st. For me this is a no-brainer, since I have been updating daily for nearly 14 years. It’s just that in December, I occasionally get new people checking me out!
