And Then There Was The Rest of November
December 6, 2015
We came home from California to a for sale sign in our front yard that wasn’t there when we left, but no offers from anyone to buy it. A few days later, we got our first snow, and it was serious, not just a dusting. I was still coughing from the vacation sickness, so that dampened my enjoyment of this temporary winter wonderland. Still, I got out and took some photos.
The Wednesday after that, we left for Thanksgiving weekend in Illinois, our truck loaded to the gills with the normal suitcases plus my maternal grandmother’s Art Deco bedroom set, which was passed on to me after my grandma moved out of her house and in with my mom some 20 years ago. We don’t have any room for it in Idaho so arranged to pass it on to one of our nieces, my grandma’s great granddaughter. We spent the weekend seeing many relatives, eating much food, and doing a few tasks and chores for our moms before delivering the furniture and heading back home.
