Dear Charities Who Send Me Address Labels,
Cut it out. I don’t send that much mail. I don’t know anyone who does in this age of direct debit, online bill pay, and e-mail. I can even make charitable contributions on the internet. Amazing, I know. The majority of my snail mail is greeting cards, and I could send cards to every one of my friends and relatives for every holiday and special occasion throughout the year and still not use as many address labels as I receive from you all. I don’t need labels; I don’t want labels; I am not more inclined to give you money if you send them. So stop, please.
P.S. Thanks to your efforts, I’m also fully stocked with notepads, all occasion greeting cards, and wall calendars. Don’t send any more of those, either.
