Twenty-two years ago tonight, on another Sweetest Day (mmm, candy), I put on a long ivory (not white– I’m a Summer) gown and the not-quite-yet-Mr. Karen put on a tuxedo and we stood up in front of family and friends and made a commitment to each other for as long as we both shall live. So far, so good. There are plenty of things I’d change about the wedding if I could go back in time, but the groom is definitely not among them. Happy anniversary, [sweet nothing redacted].
