This was me this morning, having breakfast outside, wearing shorts and a tee shirt, already melting a bit in the heat.

This was me about an hour ago, scraping ice off the car in the parking lot where we’d left it last week while we were vacationing in sunny Florida. And it sure was sunny. It rained about 20 minutes the whole time we were there, and the highs were in the upper 70s and lower 80s. Not so here at home, where ice on the runway shut the airport down for a while tonight, delaying our return.

One year ago, I ran my first 5K.

Two years ago, I looked back on the month of March.

Three years ago, I was stressed.

Four years ago, I wrote about toilet paper. Toilet paper? Yep.

Five years ago, I was skiing, not writing. I’m glad we didn’t try that this year, as the snow reports weren’t looking good for early season powder.
