Thanksgiving

Today I am thankful for, among other things, my husband, who bought this salt and pepper shaker set for me in Paris. Every time I see these goofy ceramic figures I know that there’s this wonderful person in the world who gets me. That’s a gift I need to not take so much for granted.
Things I am not thankful for today include iTunes once again not recognizing my nano (I see another restore on the horizon–yuck) and the scrapes and bruises and strains I got taking a fall in the parking lot at work last night (this just after I’d successfully negotiated the slippery grass slope in the rain when coming back from the other building).
