The cool thing about this picture is that to take it I didn’t have to go to a zoo or an aquarium or on a guided nature experience–I just strolled out the back door of Joan and Dale’s house in Florida and looked into the canal at low tide.

One year ago, I was just back from Florida. Coincidence?

Two years ago, I was sick and didn’t write anything for public consumption.
