My most-viewed photo on Flickr yesterday was the one I took of the chairlift, which I posted in my journal entry entry yesterday. That’s not surprising. What is surprising is the second most-viewed yesterday, only one view behind first place: this snap of one of my breakfasts at Disney, which I uploaded on December 1st and never linked anywhere. I didn’t even add any tags to the photo, though Flickr’s bots put some on, including “latte” and “coffee”, which I’ve since removed. The sources part of the stats page for this says they views are coming from Flickr, but there’s no additional detail beyond that, so I’ve no idea why the waffles are getting more eyes on them than what I think are more interesting and attractive shots I’ve posted this month. It will just have to remain a mystery.

This is actually a nicely composed, pleasing photo. No wonder people like it.
