Snowmageddon, Not So Much

February 3, 2011

Water flowing really slowly

Yesterday my part of Michigan was scheduled for Snowmageddon, with 12 to 18 inches of snow forecast overnight. We got about six inches. Yeah, it took a while to shovel, but it wasn’t the huge mess I was expecting to have to deal with when I woke up. I worked from home anyway, which meant I missed out on free pizza at work (a reward for the people who did make it in; I think this is the first time I’ve missed it, and this time it was from one of my two favorite pizza places). Today things are pretty much back to normal, and I even saw the sun for a bit. Now if it would just warm up enough to melt the ice dam in our rain gutter, I’d be all set.
